Transformers: The Game is an action game based on the film of the same name and developed by Traveller’s Tales.
In this PC game you will be able to decide in which band you want to fight and take part in action by fighting against your enemies to win the Earth’s battle. You can defend the planet from invaders or join the dark side and try to defeat the good robots.
All action is livened up with the movie soundtrack in which you can find music from Goo Goo Dolls or Smashing Pumpkins.
Defeat your enemies
Transformers: The Game is a third person shooter action game in which you will have to choose in which band you want to be at. There are two forces: Autobots or Decepticons, and missions would vary according to the force you have joined.
Each robot has different ways to attack their enemies: they can use certain weapons or even throw street elements such as cars, signs, trees, etc. which makes it more realistic.
Although missions could be a little bit repetitive at a certain time, Transformers: The Game offers high quality visual effects with an exact copy of robots from the movie, and great explosions and lights.
The first one is set up in the future where you will be a qualified soldier who fight against different aliens in order to discover Halo’s darkest secrets.
On the other hand, the Doom saga, although a bit older, it shows the unknown universe under a marine’s eyes who will have to confront multiple demons, zombies and evil spirits.

Transformers: The Game
This game is based on the movie Transformers by Steven Spielberg. It carries the same story line where you have invaders known as Decepticons from outer space invading planet earth. Our heroes or the good guys are robots known as Autobots that defend planet earth from the invaders. As a player of the game you can choose which side you want to be in, either the good guys or the bad ones. The game is played on an open world environment and has side missions like the Energon cubes and Autobot/ Decepticons emblems scattered out through the city. The Autobots can attack in five ways including light weapons, a heavy weapon, a melee attack, ability to throw objects like cars, signs etc, or use a long object like a lamp post as a sword. The game gets its name from the ability of the Autobots to transform themselves into racing vehicles and vice versa.
The game is very much livened up by tracks like GOO GOO Dolls or Smashing Pumpkins. As the tempo of the fight changes the sounds change rhythms and beats too. The design of the game is very good with high quality visual effects.
- The design sound and visual effects are very good
- You can choose to play any side i.e good or bad side
- Some of the missions are repetitive

I am a big fan of Transformers when it was just a cartoon series. I was excited to see it when it was turned into a movie. And even more when they made a video game version. I just love it when the characters transform from being a robot to a high-powered vehicle and vice versa. My favorite characters are the Autobots particularly Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. What I like about the game is that they were able to get the actual voice actor for Optimus Prime. The sound effects are outstanding and the graphics are superb. The player can choose which among the two campaigns he wants. He can protect the Earth as an Autobot or be a member of the evil Decepticons. You can also use the things from the environment as weapons like posts, etc. Different attack options are also available which adds thrill to the game. Overall, Transformers: The Game is both enjoyable and worth playing. If you love the cartoon series or the movie, you will have fun with the game version as well.
- Option to choose from dual campaigns
- Superb sound effects and great graphics
- Combat scenes are below par
